In Iran, a magnitude 5.3 earthquake shook the southwest of the country. As the US Earthquake Observatory USGS reported on Sunday, the quake occurred at a depth of around ten kilometers. There were initially no reports of damage or casualties in the earthquake zone on the Gulf near Iraq.
