The US broadcaster ABC will broadcast a special edition of the talk show “The View” on Thursday (February 16). This is where the main characters from “Star Trek” meet again. Whoopi Goldberg (67), who played in “The Next Generation” from 1988 to 1993, leads through the evening. A clip previously published on Instagram shows her in her legendary Guinan costume.

Goldberg is first seen wearing a red coat. With a snap of her fingers, she transforms into her “Star Trek” character with the iconic turban. In line with this, the TV studio was converted into the Ten Forward Lounge.

A series of pictures shared in collaboration with “Entertainment Weekly” also gives a foretaste of Goldberg’s celebrity guests: Patrick Stewart (82, Jean-Luc Picard), Jonathan Frakes (70, William Riker), Gates McFadden (73, Beverly Crusher) and Michael Dorn (70, Worf).

As “Entertainment Weekly” reports, the actors come together to review their time together filming the series. At the same time they would prepare for the final season of “Star Trek: Picard”. Michael Dorn is obviously given a special honor: In one photo, the actor is holding a trophy for “the most appearances in Star Trek history”. Another snap shows Patrick Stewart planting a kiss on Whoopi Goldberg’s forehead.
