The young Wallander, “Joker”, the young Indiana Jones, “Creed”, the young Obi Wan Kenobi – the so-called spin-offs, which either revolve around the early years of well-known cinema and series heroes or give supporting characters their own story hardly countable anymore. What is behind such a revision? In the creative departments, the answers would probably contain sentences like “not yet told”, “charming constellation” or “finally solving the puzzle”. In the finance department, just one word: money.
