Princess Lilibet (1) was christened 21 months after her birth. This is now exclusively confirmed by the US magazine “People”. Accordingly, Prince Harry (38) and Duchess Meghan (41) are said to have held a small christening ceremony last Friday (March 3). The ceremony, which is said to have been attended by around 30 guests, took place at her home in Montecito, California.
A spokesman for the couple confirmed to People in a statement: “Princess Lilibet was christened on March 3 by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, Reverend John Taylor.” Furthermore, an insider claims to have learned that Harry and Meghan have received invitations to the christening of King Charles III. (74), King Consort Camilla (75), Prince William (40) and Princess Kate (41). However, none of them traveled from Britain to the United States to attend the baptism.
However, Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland (66) and actor and godfather Tyler Perry (53) are said to have been among the guests. After the baptism ceremony, those present were surprised with food and music. Perry is said to have traveled from Atlanta with a ten-piece gospel choir. He then performed “Oh Happy Day” and “This Little Light of Mine”, it is said.
Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on June 4, 2021 in Santa Barbara, California. Her big brother Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor (3) saw the light of day on May 6, 2019 in London.
