Marvel star Jeremy Renner (52) was run over by his own snow plow on New Year’s Day. A disturbing new video, which the US portal “ETOnline” spreads, now shows the dramatic moments immediately after the serious accident. The clip shows paramedics trying to save the actor’s life at the scene of the accident. It is a body camera footage of an unknown first responder. In the video, several people kneel around the runner, who is lying on the ground and render first aid before the actor is taken away. A large pool of blood marks the place where the Hollywood star had previously been run over by his snow plow, which weighed around six and a half tons.

Jeremy Renner’s nephew can also be heard in the accident video. As a witness, he describes to the police who were present after the seriously injured man had been taken away that Renner tried to jump onto the rolling snow plow to save him from being run over. During this attempted rescue, the Marvel star himself fell under one of the caterpillar’s heavy tracks. According to Renner, he suffered “about 35 broken bones” in the accident. He spent two weeks in a hospital and has since been fighting his way back to life with intense rehab.

Last week, Renner was back on the red carpet for the first time. A little battered, but beaming with joy, the 52-year-old attended the premiere of his new documentary series “Rennervations”, which is available on Disney. During his red carpet appearance, Renner alternately leaned on a walking stick and used a walking roller, with which he repeatedly relieved his legs during the numerous interviews.
