“Asked – Hunted” will return on June 5, 2023 with new episodes on the ARD evening. Thomas Kinne (62), one of the “hunters” in the successful quiz, announced this “officially” via Facebook. To do this, he linked the ARD program overview for this day. The broadcaster had previously only spoken of a start in June.
“Asked – Hunted” takes over the program slot at 6 p.m. from “Who knows something?” as usual. For years, the quiz has alternated with the knowledge show moderated by Kai Pflaume (55) on the evening before. Most recently, new episodes ran in October 2022.
It is not yet known how many episodes the eleventh season of “Asked – Hunted” will include. According to the industry magazine “DWDL”, according to the first, there should be over 80 episodes that will run until mid-October.
During the anniversary season last year, “Gesucht – Gejagt” got the best ratings in ten years with a market share of 19 percent.
As has been the case in the eleventh round, four candidates will once again compete against the hunters, professionals from the German Quiz Association. In addition to “quiz doctor” Thomas Kinne, these are “know-it-all” Sebastian Klussmann (34), “librarian” Klaus Otto Nagorsnik (68), “quiz volcano” Manuel Hobiger (41), “generalist” Adriane Rickel (49) and “quiz god” Sebastian Jacoby (45). Annegret Schenkel was added in the last season.
Last fall, ARD tested the spin-off “Asked – Hunted: Alone Against All”. In it, a candidate competes against up to five hunters. It is not yet known whether the spin-off will go into the next round.
The moderator for “Gefraget – Gejagt” is Alexander Bommes (47), who recently celebrated his TV comeback on “Sportschau” after a long illness break.
