Jack White is one of the most successful German music producers with more than a billion records sold and over a thousand self-produced songs. The 82-year-old became world famous with songs like “Schöne Maid” or “Looking for Freedom”. And White seems to be doing well privately too.

In October he is expecting his seventh child with his wife Raffaella Nussbaum. Then the music giant will be 83 years old. “A few weeks ago, Raffi came to me and said: You, I have to talk to you. I was totally perplexed when she told me that she was pregnant. But then we hugged and both cried with happiness,” says White in conversation with the “image”.

“I never expected it. It all happened naturally. One hundred percent! We just made love. I had long since finished family planning,” he emphasizes. First examinations show that the baby is perfectly healthy. The couple has not yet revealed whether the addition to the family is a boy or a girl.

“I did research: As of October, I will be the only one in the world who has two late children in the then current top ten of the oldest living fathers,” says White himself. The father of six already has two grandchildren. It is his second child with Raffaella Nussbaum, who is 44 years his junior.

The couple married in 2015. Their first son Maximilian was born four years ago. Five children come from relationships with other women. “My wife takes care of everything, she is absorbed in it. She is a wonderful woman. I have the pleasant part and enjoy it. Sometimes I can hardly believe my luck,” he said.
