Jane Schneck was arrested in Hernando County, Florida last weekend. This is reported by the “Los Angeles Times” and “TMZ”. The 64-year-old is said to have become violent in an argument with a man over the remote control of her television. According to “TMZ”, the man is said to have been her husband.

According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, Aaron’s (1987-2022) and Nick Carter’s (43) mother and the man she shares a home with in Brooksville were drinking when the argument began. “The TV was obviously too loud,” a police spokeswoman told the Los Angeles Times. However, the man wanted to go to sleep and the volume is said to have disturbed him. Schneck is said to have gotten angry when the man started videotaping her, escalating the argument. According to the spokeswoman, the man suffered no visible injuries.

According to “TMZ”, he is said to have called the police after Schneck grabbed his wrist, among other things. The officers are said to have viewed the video, which is said to have subsequently led to the arrest for alleged domestic violence. A public defender has been appointed for Schneck, who was released on $100 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on May 22.

The 64-year-old had to cope with a heavy blow of fate last year. Her son Aaron Carter, the younger brother of Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter, died on November 5, 2022. He was found dead at his home in Lancaster, California by a housekeeper. The death was classified as an accident, the “New York Post” reported, citing the responsible forensic medicine. Carter drowned in his bathtub after using drugs.
