Singer Sasha (51) and his wife Julia Roentgen publish their first children’s book “Toto and the Man in the Moon”. At the same time, the singer’s first children’s song album, which contains a suitable song for each chapter, will be released on July 28th.
Sasha has often worked with and for children, for example as a coach on the Sat.1 show “The Voice Kids”. Now he is presenting a children’s book together with his wife. The couple has a son (4), who gave birth to the idea for the book. The main character Toto is also based on her son Otto. In ten stories, the author couple answers many of the questions children have before they fall asleep. A press release says: “Toto dreams of the moon every night and the best thing is, he can even fly there with his rocket! Surrounded by space, there are adventures to be had and funny moments to be experienced.”
Julia Roentgen and Sasha described the book on their Instagram pages as a “heart project”. They wrote: “Plunge into a world of fantasy and music.” In addition, the couple already revealed that there will also be an audio book. It is “ideal for falling asleep”.
The hardcover book has 128 pages and is aimed at children aged four and over. It will be published on July 28 by Carlsen Verlag in Hamburg. Matthias Derenbach illustrated the stories.
