British model Naomi Campbell has given birth to her second child at the age of 53. “Welcome Babyboy,” she wrote on Instagram Thursday night. “It’s never too late to become a mother.”
In May 2021, Campbell – then 50 – also announced on Instagram that he had become a mother. She later countered rumors of a possible adoption. “She is not adopted – she is my child,” she told British Vogue, for whose cover she was photographed with her little daughter.
Once the first black model to be on the cover of Vogue, Campbell continues to champion diversity in fashion. In the recent post, Campbell shares a picture of a baby being held by a woman; one hand of the baby is held by both the woman and another child’s hand. Campbell writes: “My little darling, know that you are honored beyond all measure and are surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A true gift from God – blessed!”
At the annual Met benefit gala in New York in early May and the Cannes Film Festival a little later, the supermodel showed no signs of pregnancy in photos.
