Lady Gaga (37) can record a legal victory. As the US gossip portal “TMZ” reports, the singer does not have to pay a finder’s fee to the woman who brought back her kidnapped dogs. The woman, named Jennifer McBride, turned out to be an accomplice to the kidnappers. Lady Gaga has offered $500,000 to someone who can bring back her dogs Gustav and Koji.

The responsible court in Los Angeles threw out the lawsuit for the payment of the finder’s fee. According to the statement, Jennifer McBride should not benefit from a crime in which she was involved. The unsuccessful plaintiff now has 20 days to appeal.

Flashback to February 2021. Several men ambushed dog sitter Ryan Fischer, who was walking with Lady Gaga’s three French bulldogs. The perpetrators pushed Fischer to the ground to kidnap the dogs. When the dog sitter fought back, one of the men shot him in the chest.

Ryan Fischer survived the attack with serious injuries. The attackers disappeared with two dogs, leaving the third behind. According to their own statements, they didn’t want to kidnap the dogs to blackmail Lady Gaga, but because the breed was in demand on the market. The man who shot Ryan Fischer was later sentenced to 21 years in prison for attempted murder.

Two days after the kidnapping, Jennifer McBride took Koji and Gustav to a police station. But then it turned out that she knew the perpetrators and knew very well that the dogs were stolen. She was given a two-year suspended sentence for attempted stolen goods. Which didn’t stop her from suing Lady Gaga for the finder’s reward.
