From February 20th, RTL users can expect twelve new episodes of “Make Love, Fake Love” (also on RTL from March 2nd). This time on the dating show, reality TV actress Antonia Hemmer (23) is looking for happiness in love after her failed relationship with Patrick Romer.

Antonia Hemmer was born on April 1, 2000 in Fürth and grew up in Bamberg and Hanover. After graduating from school, she completed training as a make-up artist in Hanover. She also works as a model and influencer in the areas of fashion, travel and lifestyle. She is followed by around 240,000 subscribers on Instagram.

In 2020, Hemmer also became known to TV viewers. She met and fell in love with Patrick Romer on the RTL dome show “Bauer sucht Frau”. On the show she left the format voluntarily, but afterwards the two got together and were a couple for around two years. Together they took part in the “

In “Make Love, Fake Love,” Hemmer, who also appeared in “Battle of the Reality Stars” after “Sommerhaus der Stars,” is now looking forward to the chance “to find the man of my dreams and not make the same mistake as in the past with my ex-partner,” she says in an RTL interview. “It was a very toxic, narcissistic relationship. Everyone who watched ‘Summer Out of the Stars’ back then knows what I’m talking about. I was put down in the games and treated badly. For me it’s a small satisfaction now that “I’m in a format where all the men only deal with me and I’m the queen and probably no one there will treat me as badly as my ex-partner.”

And what is Hemmer looking for in a new partner? “What is not worth mentioning for me are aspects such as loyalty, honesty and respect.” These are a prerequisite for them. In addition, the man should be “humorous, animal-loving and socially intelligent – just a spontaneous, cool guy where the vibe fits.” A man gets a plus point if he “can cook a little or does a little bit of housework and is careful.”

Mama’s boys or narcissists have no chance with her, says Hemmer. “The decisive factor is how he treats me. How does he treat me, how does he talk to me, how does he deal with me in exceptional situations? That’s when I can tell whether he’s a red flag.” Further no-gos for the single lady: “If I see that he always has his cell phone on silent, he hides his pin or secretly writes to random women, constantly likes pictures or only has women in his Instagram list, that would be red Flags, I have to say.”

The 23-year-old explains that she has no sympathy for the couples who take part in “Make Love, Fake Love”. “I would never do it because I think if you’re willing to put your relationship to the test for a few bucks, then it can only go wrong.”

The big challenge for Hemmer in the show: Not only is she the focus of the format, she also has to find out who is really serious about her. Because the men who move into a Greek villa with her are not all single. It is therefore important to convict those who are forgiven and who are being watched in the background by their partners.

Hemmer wants to benefit from the experiences of her predecessor Yeliz Koc (30), who tried her luck in season one – and to differentiate herself from it. “To be honest, I don’t want to let anyone look at my cards so quickly. I want to keep everything a little more exciting,” she explains in the RTL interview. With Koc, you quickly noticed “who she really likes and who she tends to send into the ‘bro zone’. I definitely want to prevent that.”

All men, even those who don’t immediately catch her visually, should be given a chance with Hemmer, “because maybe the character will convince me in the end and a relationship could then come about.” She wants to make it exciting for herself, but also for the men and of course for the viewer, “until the end, so that everyone is wondering right up to the end who will she choose now?” For men, for example, she wants to find out whether they are lying by asking them repeated questions. “I also think you can tell when someone is taken. I think it makes you tired when you have to play the completely wrong person for several days.”

But a first preview of the season shows how difficult it is to get to the real singles on the show. Not only does Hemmer come into close contact with several men, she also doubts their intentions. “I don’t want to fall for a guy like that again, for whom I do everything and I get nothing in return,” she explains through tears. She desperately begs the men: “Please don’t disappoint me.”
