Amira Pocher’s (31) brother Ibrahim “Hima” apparently had a special birthday present for Oliver Pocher’s (46) youngest birthday. He brought condoms for his brother-in-law, as the two siblings tell us in their podcast “Liebes Leben” (exclusively on Podimo).
The conversation in the latest episode begins with a look back at Amira’s birthday party, which had the public order office called in twice and the police once. Reminded of this, Hima asks where the cat he gave her is. Amira admits that she has now given the animal into the hands of a friend – and complains: “Why didn’t you give me condoms for my birthday?” and suggests that she “read something like that.”
Apparently Hima had given his sister’s ex-husband condoms for his 46th birthday on February 18th. He now has to explain the gift to Amira in front of the audience: “He basically has everything he needs, and he doesn’t need much, so it has to be something funny. And I thought to myself, what makes the most sense and is also funny, “It’s just contraception.” Apparently he wanted to say something to the comedian through the flower. “Because he already has five [children] and that’s enough. And at some point you have to say ‘I think I’ve brought enough children into the world,'” Ibrahim explained to his sister at the microphone, laughing. Apparently Pocher’s children were also present when the gift was presented. “It was funny,” Hima concludes his story. To which Amira replies snidely: “Crazy, you’re a really good role model for my children…”
The rest of the podcast was also about children, or rather about their upbringing. Amira spoke out in favor of letting children be children. However, free development also has limits for them. As she makes clear with a swipe at her ex: “When you’re on the phone with Oli, it’s actually normal for a mother to say: ‘Excuse me, is that your child? That just bit my daughter.'”
Oliver Pocher also reported on his family birthday meeting on Instagram. However, there was no mention of condoms. Instead, he wrote thoughtful words about a photo with his children: “Perhaps the most demanding year of my life is behind me. A year ago, I would not have thought that I would be celebrating this birthday as a single person.” The post has now been deleted.
The marriage of the comedian and his wife Amira Pocher broke up in the summer of 2023. The two have two sons, who were born in 2019 and 2020. Oliver Pocher’s first marriage to Alessandra Meyer-Wölden (40) resulted in three children: a daughter and twin sons.
