Sonja Stellbrink (Franziska Machens), a successful representative of a large pharmaceutical company, is placed on leave by her employer after an erotic escapade with one of her customers. Her husband then also takes her on leave from their marriage. So Sonja settles back in her parents’ house for a few days and is suddenly back in the small town of her childhood in Münsterland. Her father runs a pharmacy there, and her brother and his family still live in their parents’ house. Sonja is immediately more familiar with her old home than she would like: the routine, the neighbors, the shooting festival, her childhood sweetheart Sascha (Tom Radisch), who is now married to Sonja’s “competition” from her school days.
