In June the time has finally come: Not quite two years after the finale of the first season of “House of the Dragon,” the second season of the successful “Game of Thrones” prequel will premiere on HBO. The good news for all fans in Germany: Sky shows the current episode parallel to the first broadcast and also makes it available for viewing via the streaming service Wow.

On June 16th, HBO will broadcast the first of the new eight episodes; due to the time difference, it can also be seen in Germany on the night of June 17th. This is reported by the industry portal “DWDL.de”.

“House of the Dragon” is based on George R. R. Martin’s book “Fire and Blood” and takes place approximately 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones”.
