Just a few weeks ago, Suki Waterhouse (32) became a mother for the first time. On Friday evening (April 12th), the singer was back on stage for the first time since giving birth – at the famous Coachella festival in the desert of Palm Springs. On stage, she not only performed songs like “Moves, “To Love” or a cover of the Oasis hit “Don’t Look Back in Anger”, but also revealed the gender of her baby with actor Robert Pattinson (37).
“I can’t believe how many amazing people are performing tonight, so many incredible women are performing tonight,” the “Daisy Jones and the Six” actress told the audience. “I don’t know if you know, but my life has changed quite a bit lately.” She was “very happy that I have my own great lady,” she added with a smile and was cheered by the audience.
About a week before her appearance at Coachella, Suki Waterhouse shared a first photo of her baby on Instagram. “Welcome to the world, angel,” the 32-year-old wrote alongside a Polaroid picture in which she is holding the little one in her arms. In another post, she shared several mirror selfies of her after-baby body and reported how “humiliating” but also “exciting” the time after the birth was.
Despite her pregnancy, the singer apparently didn’t keep her feet still: In January she released her single “OMG” and in March she announced her new album “My Fun”, which is due to be released this year.
