Fate has finally been kind to the former “Germany’s next top model” candidate Anna Adamyan: The wife of the Armenian soccer professional Sargis Adamyan has become a mother for the first time. Neither she nor the proud father have announced this happy news so far, but it is still official: FC Cologne head coach Steffen Baumgart explained at a press conference that his protégé is currently not training for a good reason.
“Sargis Adamyan has become a father and he is currently taking care of his family and we are very happy for him. We expect that he will be there on Monday,” said Baumgart. On Monday, FC Köln will play their first competitive game of the new season, with the first round of the DFB Cup against VfL Osnabrück coming up.
Anna Adamyan gave her last pregnancy update on Friday night. In an Instagram story, she revealed: “Last night my water broke and we’ve been in the clinic ever since. I’ll get in touch with you and hope you understand. Thanks for cheering!”
The fact that she is grateful for everyone crossing her fingers on the way to motherhood also has to do with various strokes of fate in the past. The influencer suffers from endometriosis. After two miscarriages and eleven artificial inseminations, her big dream has now come true.
In the winter of last year, she announced via Instagram that she was pregnant again. At the time, she wrote about a picture of her positive pregnancy test: “The most beautiful Christmas miracle that we could have wished for has come true. I’m pregnant! Our artificial insemination worked.”
The article goes on to say: “When writing these sentences, a few tears roll down – with absolute joy. We couldn’t be happier and are incredibly grateful. We’ve just enjoyed all of this for ourselves over the last two days, realized it more and more and I keep saying it: I’m pregnant!”
In August 2021, Sargis and Anna Adamyan said yes – exactly two years later, their desire to have children has come true.
