Prince Harry (38) and Duchess Meghan’s (42) latest Netflix project will start in two weeks. On August 30th, the five-part documentary series “Heart of Invictus” will appear on the streaming service, as Netflix announced today. A trailer for the series is also available today. It features Prince Harry alongside athletes at the sporting event.

“Heart of Invictus” starts a few days before the start of this year’s Invictus Games in Düsseldorf. The Sussexes’ production company’s first Netflix project was announced in April 2021. The Paralympic sports event for war-disabled soldiers was initiated by Prince Harry and took place in London for the first time in 2014. The Invictus Games 2020 had to be postponed due to the corona pandemic. They were finally held in The Hague in April 2022.

“Our Invictus Games community represents some of the bravest and most passionate people from 23 nations around the world,” said Prince Harry in a statement obtained by Variety. The participants in the games are “competitors who came together through their military service and are now united through sport.”

The Sussexes’ lucrative deal with Spotify fell through this summer. In mid-June, the streaming platform announced that it would not produce a second season of Duchess Meghan’s podcast “Archetypes”. Spotify and Harry and Meghan’s production company Archewell Audio announced in a joint statement at the time that although they were “proud of the series” “that we made together”, they “mutually agreed to separate”.
