Do they both want to go to the same event? Hailey (26) and Justin Bieber (29) made a curious joint appearance in New York City yesterday, Monday. The model presented a new product from her cosmetics brand Rhode in the US metropolis. For this she dressed up – as usual – and showed herself glamorously in red from head to toe. However, the same cannot be said of husband Justin Bieber: he appeared in a baggy look.
First, the couple went to eat at the Italian restaurant Bar Pitti, then to the launch event for their new lip balm “Strawberry Glaze” in a donut shop. The 26-year-old wore a short, strapless, bright red satin dress by Ermanno Scervino, a red handbag by Ferragamo and red heels by Maison Ernest. Strawberry earrings dangled from her ears.
Her husband apparently didn’t notice anything about the glamorous dress code: Justin Bieber came to the event next to Hailey in a gray jogging suit with shorts and a hooded sweatshirt, a crooked pink cap and bright yellow Crocs with white socks. The singer then shared some photos from the event on Instagram.
Hailey Bieber also shared some photos of the event on her Instagram account. One fan commented, “You look beautiful! But why was your husband dressed like he was going to get coffee on a Sunday morning hungover?” Another fan then defended Bieber: “Why is this so important? It drives me insane that everyone keeps forgetting that since his Lyme diagnosis Justin has repeatedly expressed that he is not comfortable in his body. He has said that he just wants to dress comfortably in moments of uncertainty.”
Justin Bieber has been struggling with health issues for a number of years. In January 2020, he made his Lyme disease diagnosis public. The illness would also have affected his psyche, he explained. In 2022, the singer also revealed that he has Ramsay Hunt Syndrome and had suffered facial paralysis. In March 2023 he canceled his “Justice” world tour for health reasons.
