The Paris court of appeal ordered that, on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, the resumption of the investigation on a charge of rape in 2009 for the minister of the public Accounts Gérald Darmanin, told Agence France-Presse on Thursday, several sources.
The Court of cassation had ordered in November 2019 in the chamber of instruction of the Paris appeal court to reconsider the validity of the non-place which had been granted in 2018 Gérald Darmanin, who is accused by a woman, Sophie Patterson-Spatz, rape, sexual harassment and abuse of trust.
