Glamorous! Amal Clooney, 45, was the epitome of elegance in her floor-length iridescent gold dress on the rainy red carpet at the 2023 British Fashion Awards, held at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Monday.
The dress of the lawyer, who has been married to Hollywood star George Clooney (62) since 2014, was decorated with large golden sequins that got bigger and bigger down into the train. The armless and shoulder-free robe glittered in the flashlights of the venue. The British-Lebanese lawyer combined gold flats, a gold clutch and a pair of glittering silver earrings.
Amal Clooney was seen at the event with her good friend, entrepreneur and make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury (50). Numerous celebrities such as Kate Moss (49) and Gwyneth Paltrow (51) were also there.
Sixteen awards were presented on the evening, hosted by British broadcaster Maya Jama and musician Kojey Radical. The TFA nominees and winners are chosen by an international jury made up of over 1,000 industry experts.
The American Paloma Elsesser (31) was awarded the Model of the Year Award. The Cultural Innovator Award went to musician Sam Smith (31). Charlotte Tilbury received the Special Recognition Award. The British poet Michaela Coel (36) received the Pandora Leader of Change Award from Pamela Anderson (56). Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow also presented one of the awards, the Outstanding Achievement Award to Valentino co-founder Giancarlo Giammetti (born 1942).
