Actress Emma Watson (33) appreciates her current break from the film world. She is experiencing more autonomy, she told British Vogue (January issue). “I’m so glad that I allowed myself to let things be unsorted.” And not knowing what’s next. “Everything I’ve learned – I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

Watson was in front of the camera for the “Harry Potter” films when he was a child. As a young adult she studied English literature but also continued working as an actress. Most recently she filmed “The Circle” (2017) and “Little Women” (2019). In the meantime, she has also tried out directing an advertising film and, according to Vogue, enrolled in a creative writing course.

The step of writing, studying and being behind the camera was also scary because she had never done it before. “I was always in front of the camera; I was always an actress.” She also said no success will make you happy or content if you can’t stand who you are or enjoy what you do when no one is watching.

In the interview, Watson talked about sustainable fashion, her dog and also an earlier comment. In 2019, she described her relationship status as “self-partnered” in a “Vogue” interview. It wasn’t necessarily about celebrating being single, Watson told the magazine. When she turned 30, she realized how she could take better care of herself – and be proud of it.
