Every year storklubben Juventus a nice christmas party for people in and around the club. A party, where the Danish player Sofie Junge Pedersen of the year were among the participating, since she is a part of Juventus’ team.

Along with her attended the big stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Gianluigi Buffon and Aaron Ramsey.

But a star was missing for the party. Mario Mandzukic.

The 33-year-old Croatian landsholdsspiler was not invited to the christmas party.

He has not got a single minute this season for the first team since Maurizio Sarri came to in the summer.

Mandzukic has been training alone in order to maintain your fitness with a trainer from the club in the last while.

As if his absence from training was not a sufficient indication that Mandzukics not considered as being part of the team, so he was not among the 600 guests, including members of all Juventus teams, who were invited to the team’s magnificent christmas party, as the chairman Andrea Agnelli was the host.

Many players from kvindeholdet they used social media to put pictures up from the party, who spoke with the stars from the herreholdet. Among them was the Danish player Sofie Junge Pedersen, who put up an image with the Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon.

Mandzukic, who has been linked with Manchester United in recent months, would prefer a comeback to the Bundesliga, where he played for Bayern Munich between 2012 and 2014.

In the Bundesliga, should Borussia Dortmund be most interested in signing a contract with him, but their offer of eight million euros, equivalent to 60 million kroner is below the value, as Juventus have put on Mandzukic. His annual salary of around five million euros, corresponding to almost dkk 40 million could also be a spanner in the works for a move to January.

His Juventus contract expires in June 2021, which explains why the club want to retrieve the maximum value out of a potential sale of Mandzukic.

Juventus is number two in the Serie A with 36 points after 15 matches. In front of them is Inter with 38 points after the same number of matches.
