From domestic violence to fraud: Actor Zachery Ty Brian (42) is known to not take the law very seriously. Now the “Listen Who’s Banging” star has been arrested again. This time for drunk driving, reports People magazine.
It has only been seven months since the US star was released from prison. At that time the allegation was domestic violence. According to the report, the 41-year-old was out and about in La Quinta, California, in the early hours of the morning last weekend when police took him into custody again. In addition to drunk driving, he is also facing charges for allegedly violating court conditions.
He was released from custody on the same day on bail of $50,000 (around 46,500 euros). He also had to pay an additional $15,000 (around 14,000 euros) for the offense, writes People. A court date is currently scheduled for April 23rd.
Last summer, the former child star was held in the Lane County Jail in Oregon on allegations of domestic violence, among other things. The actor was charged with fourth-degree assault, third-degree robbery and misdemeanor harassment. He was released from prison in August.
There were similar allegations of violence in 2020. He was on trial because, among other things, he is said to have choked his now fiancée Johnnie Faye Cartwright. Bryan pleaded guilty to two lesser counts of menacing and assault. The incident in 2020 is said to have been exaggerated by the media.
Zachery Ty Bryan became a child star in 1991 with “Listen, Who’s Banging?” In the sitcom he played Brad, the eldest son of the DIY king Tim Taylor, played by Tim Allen (70).
