Prince William (40) and Princess Kate (40) travel to the United States for the first time in eight years at the end of November. From November 30th to December 2nd, the British heir to the throne and his wife will be in Boston.
According to several media reports, the royal couple would like to find out more about the city’s efforts to combat the effects of climate change. Prince William will also present the Earthshot Prize on December 2nd in Boston. Together with the nature filmmaker David Attenborough (96), he launched the 2020 prize. Solutions are to be found for problems in the field of environmental protection. At the events, five prize winners will be honored each year until 2030.
Princess Kate will also visit the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University during the trip to the USA. The Research Center for Early Childhood works in partnership with the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood. The center founded by Kate the previous year is part of the Princess’ charities.
In 2014, William and Kate visited New York for three days. Back then, too, Kate informed herself about early childhood development.
