The ZDF drama “We have a deal” starring Felix Klare has won the renowned Bernd Burgemeister television prize for the best TV film. The award honors producers for outstanding work, in this case Christian Becker and Martin Richter. The prize was awarded on Sunday evening at the Munich Film Festival and is endowed with 25,000 euros.
The winning film about abuse in sport tells “with remarkable courage and extraordinary empathy” a touching victim’s perspective that conveys hope, said the VFF collecting society of film and television producers. The drama also encourages those affected to raise their voices.
The prize for the best series/miniseries went to the producer Gabriela Sperl for the series “Herrhausen – Der Lord des Geldes” (ARD Degeto, rbb, hr, SWR) with Oliver Masucci in the leading role.
