Vicky Leandros (71) was apparently lucky in misfortune. The pop singer, who is currently on her farewell tour “I love life”, fell from the one meter high stage during a performance in the Kuppelsaal in Hanover on Friday evening. This is reported by the “Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung”.
According to this, Leandros had an accident during the performance of her hit “I love life”. But she was “lucky in misfortune,” as she said according to the “HAZ” report. She then reportedly returned to the stage to continue her show. She apparently remained mostly uninjured. The musician herself has not spoken out again since the performance.
Vicky Leandros announced her farewell tour in November 2022. “I’m so excited to take you on a musical journey back in time to celebrate life and music together,” she said at the time of the announcement. “My farewell tour – I love life” started in autumn 2023.
Further additional concerts are planned for 2024, including in Munich (April 2), Stuttgart (April 6) and Frankfurt am Main (April 8). In autumn 2024, “the last five additional concerts” will take place in Lübeck (October 22nd), Düsseldorf (October 24th), Vienna (October 27th), Salzburg (October 28th) and Berlin (October 31st).
