Oliver Pocher posted a video clip on Instagram that deals with the topic of energy prices. In addition to some well-meaning and also amused reactions, there are also very critical comments.
But what exactly can be seen in the post? In his contribution, Pocher showed a short clip to the words “Play me the song from electricity”, in which a hand turns a thermostat head with pictures of politicians.
A photo of Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz can be found under the “1” of the rotary knob. Below the numbers two to five are pictures of the member of the Bundestag Alice Weidel, ex-Chancellor Gerhard Schröder and the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The series is completed by a photo of Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock on the frost symbol and a photo of Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck on the zero.
A user takes up the energy issue and complains: “For me it is incomprehensible why we want to switch off the nuclear power plants at the expense of the citizens and the Hartz 4 recipients can now heat out the window!”.
However, another Instagram user is really displeased with the posting. Her comment: “Yes, if you have enough money, you can laugh about it”, takes away any drive from the posting content – whether unsuccessful or somehow funny, and focuses on the current seriousness of the precarious financial situation of many people who are worried about how they should survive the coming winter.
The user receives a lot of encouragement for this. At least you, like other commenters, don’t seem to feel like laughing in the current situation. At least not about Oliver Pocher’s gag.
