Verona Pooth (54) starts his own talk show on Magenta TV. The first episode of “Verona Pooth – More than Talking” will start on December 16th on Telekom’s streaming service. This was announced by Magenta TV on Tuesday.
The first guest of “Verona Pooth – More than Talking” is already fixed. Former swimmer Franziska van Almsick (44) talks to the host “about life as a competitive athlete, about fashion, men, children and vanity.”
The title of the show should not just be a pun on Modern Talking, the band of Verona Pooth’s ex-husband Dieter Bohlen (68). He should also point out that the show is not just about talking. Verona Pooth doesn’t meet her guests in the studio, but travels with them. With Franziska van Almsick she visits a swimming pool in Darmstadt. And she challenges the multiple swimming world champion in the pool.
Verona Pooth has already posted a video on Instagram as a foretaste of the opening show. But she wasn’t allowed to reveal the guest yet.
For Verona Pooth, “More than Talking” is the first talk show moderation in 22 years. In 2000, RTL canceled “Veronas Welt” after a two-year run. The former advertising icon had previously published the erotic magazine “Peep!” from 1993 to 1996. moderated at RTLzwei.
