The Backstreet Boys returned the favor to their fans for the numerous bras they threw on stages – with signed underpants back to the audience.
“When we were younger, they always threw their underwear on stage,” said band member Kevin Richardson of the German Press Agency in Berlin. “And so AJ and I did a little fun sketch where we changed onstage in the little dressing room. And then we’re like, ‘We’ll reciprocate. We’ll throw our underwear to you.”” The underwear was not really worn, the 51-year-old assured. The American boy band is currently touring Europe.
She still makes fan hearts beat faster with her best-known hits like “Everybody” and “I want it that way”. According to her own statements, the constant desire for the old songs does not annoy her. It’s no different with their idols like Prince or Madonna. “When we see them in concert, we also want to hear the hits. We understand that as fans of music and also of these songs, every time I hear them they take me back to that time,” said Kevin. That’s a good thing.
“That’s something I talk about on stage at the very beginning of the show: ‘Our goal tonight is to make you feel like you’re 10, 12 or 14 years old again,’ added band member Brian Littrell, 47.
The Backstreet Boys became world famous in the 90s. On Friday they release their first Christmas album.
