After a short break, drummer Travis Barker (47) can continue touring with his band Blink-182. On Friday he performed in Antwerp, Belgium, and this Saturday he is scheduled to be on stage in Cologne. Previously, a few concerts had been canceled because he had traveled back to the USA to see his wife, Kourtney Kardashian (44), due to an emergency. The heavily pregnant reality star had to undergo emergency surgery.

Kardashian had to go to the hospital because she needed “urgent prenatal surgery,” as she recently announced on Instagram. She further wrote, among other things: “I will forever be grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life.” Barker also said on X (formerly Twitter) that he “flew home for a life-threatening emergency operation on our baby.” He announced: “The tour will continue on Friday.”

“Due to an urgent family matter, Travis had to return home to the States,” the band wrote on the platform on September 1st. Therefore, planned shows in Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin had to be cancelled. At first it was unclear what would happen next with the tour.

Now Barker has returned to Europe to continue the Blink-182 tour. He made his debut again on Friday in Antwerp. The musician also published a clip on Instagram in which he gave a fan a very special treat. The man had a sign asking “Can I have a drumstick?” held up. The video shows Barker handing over the sticks – and how happy the visibly touched fan is. “First day of the tour,” Barker wrote.

According to the “Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger”, a spokesman for the Lanxess Arena had already assumed a few days ago that the band’s concert planned for today in Cologne would probably take place. So far, “nothing to the contrary has been heard,” it was said last Monday. At Further concerts in Germany are scheduled for September 16th in Berlin and September 17th in Hamburg.

Kardashian and Barker have been married since 2022 and are expecting their first child together. In June, they revealed on Instagram that they were having a boy. She already has two sons and a daughter from a previous relationship with Scott Disick (40). He had a son and a daughter with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler (48), who also brought a stepdaughter into the marriage.
