Record newcomer Harry Kane, for example, is now a father of four at the age of 30. However, one of the most deserving German footballers, Kane’s Bayern colleague Thomas Müller (34), and his wife Lisa (34) have not yet found any potential youngsters for the national team.
In an interview with the “Bild” newspaper, the 34-year-old revealed that nothing will change in the foreseeable future: “There are currently no plans for children in the Müller house,” he says and immediately gives the reason: ” We’re both still very busy professionally and still have some big sporting goals ahead of us. Lisa in equestrian sports and I in football.”
One of the footballer’s goals is likely to be a good performance at the upcoming home European Championships. The new national coach Julian Nagelsmann (36), whom Müller knows well from their time together at Bayern, has named the offensive player in his recently announced squad for the national team’s upcoming trip to the USA. As a result, the veteran is likely to have a good chance of being part of the DFB team when the starting signal for the European Championship in Germany is given on June 14, 2024.
In the meantime, the 2014 world champion has devoted himself to another matter of his heart in addition to king football. He has been working on his own cookbook, which will be published on October 7th under the title “Cooking for small and big champions”.
