The “Let’s Dance” family is growing again. As the dance show announced on Instagram, two more dance professionals will be performing together with the show’s well-known stars on the upcoming tour. “Welcome to the ‘Let’s Dance’ tour 2023, Katja Kalugina and Paul Lorenz!” They are introduced in the post. And further: “We are very pleased to welcome the two professionals to our group and to see them on the live tour very soon.”

Those responsible also inform: “Katja Kalugina will stand in for our dear Renata Lusin, who cannot be there for the best reasons in the world.” Fans of the dance show know that this refers to the pregnancy of the wife of dance professional and season winner Valentin Lusin (36).

The broadcaster RTL made it public at the end of September that Renata Lusin (36) was expecting another baby after several miscarriages. The professional dancer was five months pregnant at the time. With this in mind, the pregnant woman decided at the beginning of October not to take part in the “Let’s Dance” tour in 2023.

She only has kind words for her tour representative: “A lot of fun! I’m happy for you. Enjoy every second. It’s unforgettable,” Renata comments on the post.

It is not known whether Katja Kalugina (30) and Paul Lorenz (36) will also compete with a celebrity in the new “Let’s Dance” season. But the followers would like it, as can be seen from the comments column. “Can Katja please be on ‘Let’s Dance’ again next year?” hopes one. Another writes: “I love Paul, it would be nice if he could be there regularly again!”

Chief judge Joachim Llambi (59) is at least happy about the comeback on the tour. “The man with the Miele C3 comfort is back and the great Katja… Welcome back,” he comments.

Katja Kalugina celebrated her debut on the RTL dance show in 2012. She was also there in 2014, 2017 and 2019. Paul Lorenz appeared in the German version of the TV show in 2015 and in the Austrian version in 2016. The 2023 live tour of “Let’s Dance” starts on November 7th in Riesa and ends on December 4th in Mannheim.
