This simple sausage dip is from Brown Eyed Baker and it’s a great app.
The dip can be made in just three ingredients in under 15 minutes and is a delight for guests and for the chef.
Michelle Lettrich posted on her blog that “This recipe is extremely flexible and can be used in many ways.” We have you covered, whether you’re looking to cook it in the microwave, on the stovetop, or in a crockpot.
Fox News reported that the dip is a “game-day staple”.
She said, “There are no leftovers and people can’t believe that there are only three ingredients.”
Ingredients:
32 ounces regular sausage rolls, Bob Evans, Jimmy Dean or any other brand
16 ounces of softened cream cheese
28 ounces Picante sauce
Instructions:
Brown the sausage and break it up as it cooks. Once the sausage is cooked, take it out of the skillet using a slotted spoon.
Add the cream cheese, picante sauce and mix.
Microwave for 30 seconds in increments. Stir between each interval until the dip is heated through and the cream cheese has melted.
Enjoy with your favorite tortilla chips or pretzel crisps, or crackers.
