As the first guest of the new season “The Masked Singer”, musician Wincent Weiss (30) was on the advice team last week alongside the permanent stars Rea Garvey (49) and Ruth Moschner (46). In episode two, a comedian will now give his tips on which celebrities are hiding behind the masks: Rick Kavanian (52) will guess next Saturday (8:15 p.m.), as the broadcaster ProSieben has now announced.
Kavanian knows his way around the show: In season seven, which ran in autumn 2022, he himself stood on the “The Masked Singer” stage as Rosty and took third place.
There was a big surprise at the start of the new season: actor Jan Josef Liefers (58) had to leave the ProSieben show. The “Tatort” star was the kangaroo. The costumes Diamantula, Terry Cloth Elephant, Hedgehog, Mushroom, Shoebill, Seahorse, Toast and Raccoon are still in the running. The program is presented by Matthias Opdenhövel (52).
