Barbara Schöneberger (50) takes over for presenter Florian Silbereisen (42) – and so the TV show “The Big Hit Anniversary” for DJ Ötzi (53) quickly became “The Big Hit Surprise for Florian Silbereisen”. According to the broadcaster, Silbereisen knew nothing about it. At the recording last Thursday (February 29th) in Leipzig, the Tyrolean pop star should actually have been the focus – at least that’s what the moderator thought.
But instead of Ötzi’s anniversary, Silbereisen’s “20th festival show anniversary” was celebrated. It celebrated its premiere on February 7, 2004 with a “Winter Festival” in Chemnitz.
“For the first time a presenter is surprised with a complete show in his own show,” MDR summarizes the coup. Everyone would have known, except Silbereisen. The shock was correspondingly great: “When Barbara suddenly stood in front of me without any warning, it was like a shock for me at first, I didn’t even know what was going on anymore,” confirms the moderator. “But it quickly became the most emotional show of my life, for which I can only thank you very, very much,” he adds.
Numerous stars, friends and companions celebrated with Silbereisen on site. Howard Carpendale, Maite Kelly, Joko Winterscheidt, Anastacia, Andy Borg, Matthias Reim, Anna Ermakova, the Ehrlich Brothers, Prime Minister Dr. The station lists Reiner Haseloff and his wife, Wencke Myhre, Mickie Krause, Ross Antony, Ben Zucker, Semino Rossi, Marianne Rosenberg and Thomas Anders.
It’s a novelty: “With the surprise show for Florian Silbereisen’s anniversary, we’re breaking new ground again: There’s never been a show like this before, in which a presenter is surprised with a complete show in his own show,” says MDR. Entertainment boss Peter Dreckmann was thrilled by the top secret surprise.
If you don’t want to miss the spectacle surrounding the emotional presenter, you should mark this date in red in your calendar: “The big hit surprise for Florian Silbereisen” will be shown on March 16th from 8:15 p.m. on Erste and ORF.
