The previously subliminal rivalry between the “Bachelors” Sebastian (35) and Dennis (30) is now expressed in sport. At the start of the sixth episode (Wednesday at 8:15 p.m., also on RTL) they compete in mixed doubles on the tennis court. Sebastian gets Eva (27) as his mixed partner, Dennis chooses Lissy (29).

The result is surprisingly clear. Sebastian and Eva win easily with 5:0 sets. The hyper-athletic, super-ambitious Dennis in particular disappointed with a number of serves into the net.

The winning double celebrates in an exuberant mood on a single date. Up until now, Eva had mostly played the victim card and constantly talked about her ex-boyfriend, who cheated on her for a long time. Now she’s thawing more. Somewhat surprisingly, the kiss with the Bachelor happens. “We underestimated Eva,” they later rightly say in the women’s villa. Even as a neutral spectator you are confused.

Sebastian has now gained ground on Dennis in the kissing rankings. The Hamburger, who has been so reserved so far, shortens this ranking to 2:3.

Is Dennis letting this go? The Bavarian, who remained defensive on the individual date with Lissy, relies on cuteness on the group date. He invites his women to puppy yoga. So downward dog on the mat and puppies scurrying around in between. The baby dogs steal the show from Dennis.

Dennis invites his early favorite Katja (28) to the picnic afterwards. He was the first woman to kiss the woman from Cologne this season. This time too, the Allgäu native doesn’t let anything go wrong. But since it’s their second smooch, it doesn’t increase his body count, as one would say in the dating business today, compared to Sebastian.

Sebastian doesn’t focus on small dogs, but on big cats. He goes on a petting safari with cheetahs with his applicants. Later he meets Freya (25) solo. Both are rather reserved, which they also discuss in conversation. As is appropriate, Sebastian politely asks if he can break the tension between them. After a moment’s hesitation, she gives her consent. They kiss. This means that Freya’s “dams are broken” and she can let herself fall emotionally – and physically into his arms. He admits to having a “crush” on Freya.

So “tie” in the kiss ranking, as Kim (30) correctly notes in the villa. 3:3 – Deuce would be called in world tennis. “Now he’s licked everyone,” notes the frustrated Kim, who remained unkissed in the last episode despite the pool date. On the Night of the Roses, Sebastian even has to emphasize that Kim is still “in his head” even though he hasn’t kissed her yet. The decent Hanseatic has already come this far.

But first back to the cocktail party, which was themed “The Four Elements”. Bachelors and women should dress in the color of the elements to which they feel close in character. The down-to-earth Dennis identifies with the earth, the “still water” Sebastian with the wet element.

At the celebration, Sebastian provides the next surprise. He scares Dennis away and speaks alone with his supporter Rebecca (27). But he’s not interested in flirting with someone else. He wants to hear Rebecca’s assessment of the Leonie (28) case. It’s still haunting his head.

As a reminder: In the first episode, the Bachelors gave out yellow roses for their first favorites. Dennis chose Rebecca, Sebastian Leonie. Leonie later told her bachelor that this was why she had a difficult time in the women’s villa from the start. The yellow rose acted like a “target”.

Sebastian now asks Rebecca how her competitors reacted to her back then. Despite the yellow rose, Rebecca claims to have felt no resentment. Sebastian sees his suspicions confirmed: Leonie is an outsider in the villa not because of the yellow rose, but because of her nature.

Nevertheless, Sebastian sends Leonie one step further. “There is something in the air” between them, is his reasoning. There is no rose for the previously inconspicuous Kim-Yva (29) and the short-haired Jessica (26), both of whom only saw bachelors on the buddy track.
