Superstar Taylor Swift (33) has not been on tour for five years due to the pandemic, although she released four albums during this period. Yesterday, Friday evening, Swift’s eagerly awaited “The Eras Tour” kicked off in the US city of Glendale, Arizona – and, as expected, the 33-year-old caused a storm of enthusiasm among her mostly female fans.
“I can’t say how much I missed you,” Swift told the BBC, according to her audience of around 80,000 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, where the singer will be on stage again this Saturday night. It started with “Miss Americana
Swift’s performance was divided into ten sections, one for each of her previously released studio albums, although not in chronological order. “The show is a massive production, with 16 dancers, multiple changes of scenery and costumes, and a long, lighted catwalk leading to a second stage,” the BBC describes the XXL production.
The US part of Swift’s “The Eras Tour” runs until August 9th. International dates are to follow, but have not yet been confirmed.
