Netflix is shooting a series about the porn star Rocco Siffredi (58). As “Variety” reports, the shooting of the biographical drama “Supersex” has started in Rome. The life story of the “Italian stallion” is to be told in seven episodes.
The Italian film star Alessandro Borghi (36) takes on the leading role. The screenplay for “Supersex” comes from Francesca Manieri (43), who is known as a militant feminist. “It’s the story of a man who takes seven episodes and 350 minutes to say ‘I love you’ to accept that the demon in his body is compatible with love,” says Manieri of her project.
Rocco Siffredi was born Rocco Antonio Tano in the port city of Ortona in 1964. According to his own statement, he wanted to be a porn actor since his youth. At the age of 21 he fulfilled his dream. In his career he made more than 600 films as an actor. He is said to have had sex with over 4,000 women in front of the camera. As a director, he in turn staged more than 300 porn films, for example the series “Rocco’s True Anal Stories”.
Siffredi mainly played dominant roles, he is considered the porn star who brought sado-maso themes into mainstream porn. In 1999 he tried his hand at “Romance XXX” as an actor in a “serious” film – albeit with hardcore scenes.
Privately, the father of two children is married to his colleague Rosa Caracciolo (50). They live in their Hungarian homeland. Budapest is also the seat of his lucrative porn production company. In 2017, Siffredi publicly came out as bisexual.
