“Baby Spice” Emma Bunton, 46, has confirmed that the Spice Girls are planning something after their reunion at Geri Horner’s 50th birthday party. The group has “things in the pipeline,” she said on This Morning. The band discusses ideas – with all five original members. Accordingly, “Posh Spice” Victoria Beckham (48) would also be there again, who had suspended the 2019 tour.
“We either meet and just talk about the kids, or we meet and talk about other projects that we could do,” says Bunton. “I think it would be nice to do something,” she said. “I don’t know if it’s going to be a tour, but there are things in the pipeline that we’d love to do together again – all of us.”
During the interview, Bunton also revealed that the band members are “in talks” about a documentary series. However, there are no “definitive” plans yet. Bunton scolded her Spice Girls colleague Mel B (47), who had previously spoken about it. “She always does,” Bunton said. “We have to tell her, ‘Melanie, don’t tell anyone while we’re having these discussions.’ But I love it because she’s so excited about it,” the singer admitted. “We love that part of Mel, but if we want something to remain a secret, we don’t tell her.”
The Spice Girls had delighted fans by reuniting at Geri Horner’s birthday party earlier this month. For the 25th anniversary of “Spiceworld”, a new edition of the second band album was only announced in September.
