The WWE event WrestleMania 39 took place in Los Angeles last weekend. Rapper Snoop Dogg (51) was actually involved in the event in his hometown as a co-moderator, but after an injury to wrestling star Shane McMahon (53), the 51-year-old quickly got into the ring himself – and won against professional wrestlers and reality TV star Mike “The Miz” Mizanin (42).

When McMahon went down with a bad hamstring injury in the fight in front of over 80,000 adoring fans, Snoop Dogg spontaneously entered the ring and took down his opponent with a crashing right hook. A second punch sent The Miz onto the boards where the wrestling icon appeared to lie unconscious. Within seconds, Snoop Dogg had won his first professional wrestling match.

The rapper is a huge wrestling fan, and this isn’t the first time he’s attended a WWE event. Snoop Dogg has never participated in a fight before. At WrestleMania 39, which attracted more than 160,000 fans to the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles over two days, the music legend was involved, among other things, as moderator and so-called matchmaker. The music legend is also a member of the WWE Hall of Fame.
