After a two-year break due to the pandemic, the Oktoberfest is taking place again – and the stars are flocking to the Oktoberfest in droves. Everything that has rank and name can be seen in Munich. This not only applies to celebrities from Germany, but also to big names from abroad and even from overseas. After all, the Oktoberfest is the largest folk festival in the world and is considered one of the must-see events in Germany, especially in other countries.

That’s probably what Tim Cook thought too. The Apple boss is currently on a visit to Germany and has used it for a trip to the Wiesn. And with quite surprising company: Cook celebrated together with Kai Pflaume. The TV presenter had apparently made an appointment with the CEO beforehand, and he posted several pictures and videos of it on his Instagram account. Cook himself provided proof of his presence on social media via Twitter.

The Apple boss tweeted about the photo, which shows him with his Vice Eddy Cue and plums in the beetle tent, even in proper Bavarian style: “It’s a shame that we’re sitting amiably together again.” However, Cook has not yet fully internalized the Bavarian culture – he wore a traditional jacket over his shirt and held a beer in his hand, but he did not wear lederhosen. Instead, the 61-year-old appeared in jeans. Cook is quite familiar with how the Oktoberfest works: he already paid a visit to the last edition in 2019.

One user on Twitter found the Bavarian dialect to be “a little disturbing, but also funny”, while another responded in Bavarian with a question: “You, tell Amol Tim, can you make the new Schmartfon a little cheaper?” Others joked that Cook was probably introducing a new Apple product in the photo: the iMass.

Norbert Grünleitner does not know a bad mood or stress. The Munich resident ensures order at the underground station during the large rush to the Oktoberfest – and at the same time a lot of laughs. The visitors are enthusiastic about his humorous announcements.
