Actor Peter Crombie died last Wednesday (January 10th) at the age of 71. His ex-wife Nadine Kijner announced this on social media. According to TMZ, Kijner reported an illness that “quickly took his life.” The author and editor published wedding photos on Instagram that show her and Crombie – including a kissing photo of the two.
She wrote on the post: “It is with shock and great sadness that I announce that my ex-husband died this morning.” She thanked him for “so many wonderful memories and for being such a good man.” Kijner told TMZ that Peter Crombie was “the kindest, most caring, generous and considerate man. He was loved by everyone, was generous and never had anything bad to say about anyone.”
Her Instagram post continues: “Fly freely into the infinite source of light, Peter. May you be greeted with love by your parents and Oliver.” She puts a cat emoji after the name Oliver. “So many people loved you because you were a kind, giving, caring and creative soul,” said Kijner.
Peter Crombie became an audience favorite thanks to his role as “Crazy” Joe Davola in the US sitcom “Seinfeld”. In the fourth season of the series about the entertainer Jerry Seinfeld (69), Crombie played a crazy stalker who terrorizes the main character Seinfeld.
