On July 12th it’s that time again: Then the bachelorette on RTL is looking for her great love. This year, content creator Jennifer Saro has the honor of welcoming 18 men she’ll be digging into over the next few weeks. As the successor to last year’s bachelorette Sharon Battiste, who met and fell in love with her partner Jan Hoffmann last year through the format, the Berliner is trying to do the same as her predecessor.
Because: She is not only looking for the man for life, but also a potential father for her one-year-old son. And the first Bachelorette mom has it in her luggage. “In fact, I couldn’t concentrate at all if he wasn’t there, which is not an option at all. Then I wouldn’t have a clear head,” she said in an interview with “RTL”. Care and play support for the little one, whom Saro affectionately calls “Keksi”, is Saro’s best friend. “She comes with us and takes care of the little ones during this time.”
The new bachelorette has been single for five years and got pregnant unplanned on a date. “I knew from the start that I would do it alone, and of course that scared me,” she says. She often cried because she believed that she would never find a partner again because of her child. However, she is now confident and has noticed that only a few men have a problem with their son.
By the way, Saro already has ideas about her dream man, whom she would like to get to know on romantic dates and exciting adventures. He should be sincere, caring, intelligent and athletic, she herself is active in sports and likes to stand on a wakeboard. “What I find really attractive is when someone is self-confident,” reveals the 27-year-old. “Not when someone is loud and always the center of attention, but when you exude a certain calm, have a sense of self-confidence.”
In the “Night of the Roses” at the end of each episode, the “Bachelorette” gives her roses to the men who were able to convince her the most on the dates. If you don’t get a rose, you’re kicked out – until there are only two men left in the final. Whether or not the right dream man is there can only be seen in real life after you have made your choice. “For the future I would like to live together with a house and a child,” she says in an interview with “RTL” about her long-term ideas.
The new season was shot in Thailand for the second time – unlike last year’s seasons of Maxime, Melissa, Gerda and Nadine, where filming took place on different Greek islands. Fans of the format can look forward to eight episodes from the beginning of July. All information about the 18 participating candidates can be found in this photo gallery.
“The Bachelorette” can be seen on RTL from July 12, 2023 every Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. One week earlier, starting on July 5, 2023, the impatient can also stream the latest episodes on RTL.
