“Saw X” will be released in German cinemas on November 30th. The tenth part of the long-lived horror film series brings a reunion with the iconic killer Jigsaw, who is again embodied by Tobin Bell (80). Although John Kramer has actually died in the “Saw” universe since part three of 2006, since the new, tenth part takes place chronologically between “Saw” (2004) and “Saw II” (2005), a return is possible. A first trailer is now in the mood for the upcoming torture horror film.
John Kramer (Bell) is terminally ill. In the hope of a miracle cure for his cancer, he goes to Mexico. However, the experimental cancer therapy offered there turns out to be a scam. Jigsaw decides to start another cruel game with those responsible for the con.
“Saw X” is being directed by filmmaker Kevin Greutert (58), who had previously sat in the director’s chair for “Saw VI” and “Saw VII – Perfection”. With the actress Shawnee Smith (54), known from “Saw 1-6”, horror fans can also look forward to another familiar face from the long history of the franchise. She once again embodies the extremely dangerous Amanda Young.
