“Full House” will soon no longer be seen. The show went on air for the first time on Sat.1 in February 2023. Jasmin Wagner (43) and Jochen Schropp (44) were the moderators from the first hour. Christian Wackert (34) and Madeleine Wehle (55), among others, joined later. The afternoon show will run for the last time on Friday, October 13, 2023, as Sat.1 announced.
Sat.1 editor-in-chief Juliane Eßling said in the statement: “It is always difficult to end a program that many colleagues have worked on with great passion. I would like to thank our presenters and the editorial teams at the station and with our production company Redseven and with everyone else who collectively tried everything to make ‘Full House!’ to make a success.” At the same time, she announced new shows: “In various documentary soaps, we show emotional stories about people who make our lives more human and better.”
In the afternoon Sat.1. According to the announcement, they will be relying on these shows in the future: “The Holiday Docs”, which help “in medical emergency situations” and offer people support in the holiday paradise during the most beautiful time of the year. According to the station, “The Animal Docs! Paw Heroes with Heart” takes you to a small animal practice, the zoo or the farm. Sat.1 is also showing “We Are Family!” in the new documentary soap series “We Are Family!” Families from all over Germany “in their daily adventures and challenges”. In addition, new episodes of “Life Savers Up Close – When Every Second Counts” are scheduled to air.
Sat.1 station director Daniel Rosemann explains the programs: “Our new documentary soaps focus on people who can and do things that are taken for granted in our society – but that are not self-evident.”
