Just a few days before the planned start on December 1st, 2023: Sasha (51) has to postpone his tour “This is my Time – The Show”. The singer has to withdraw for health reasons, as he announced on his Instagram account.

“I don’t even know how to say this, but unfortunately it hit me badly,” writes Sasha. “I have become ill and so ill that it will be impossible for me to play the tour.”

In the last few weeks he has repeatedly had “fluctuating little bouts of colds” which quickly disappeared. But now he is “on the verge of pneumonia.” His doctor therefore “pulled the rip cord because he cannot be responsible for sending me on any stage in this condition.”

Sascha writes that he wrote these lines with “tears in his eyes.” “I’m so incredibly sorry,” it says in capital letters. Like his fans, he was also looking forward to the tour. “It breaks my heart to have to disappoint not only you, but also my entire traveling group and organizers and everyone involved.”

It is not yet possible to say how long it will take until Sasha is back on her feet. However, the team is working “under high pressure” on new dates for spring 2024. Tickets that have already been purchased remain valid or can be returned.

Sasha went on tour with “This is my Time – The Show” in autumn 2022. In it, the Westphalian sings his biggest hits and tells anecdotes on stage from his career, which has now spanned over 25 years. In 1998 he celebrated his breakthrough with his song “If You Believe”.
