The premiere of “The Marriage of Figaro” was on the program of the Salzburg Festival yesterday, Thursday, with many celebrities. Above all, entertainers Thomas Gottschalk (73) and Karina Mroß as well as Volkswagen major shareholder Wolfgang Porsche (80) and Gabriele Prinzessin von Leiningen (60) caused a particularly large number of flashbulbs on the Salzach.
Gottschalk celebrated a comeback at the Salzach after his absence in recent years. The TV legend combined a black and white patterned blazer with a black bow tie and pleated trousers. Karina wore a soft pink, high-necked dress with silver accents. They posed beaming for the photographers.
Gabriele Princess von Leiningen, on the other hand, opted for a stronger pink and a dress that highlighted the décolleté with a striking pattern. Porsche went for a classic black tuxedo. The entrepreneur only filed for divorce from his wife Claudia in the spring.
The Austrian construction giant Richard “Mörtel” Lugner (90) did not miss the event either. The 90-year-old came with his ex-partner Karin “Zebra” Karrer. The two separated in September 2020 after three years of relationship.
Other guests included the Austrian Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer (50), Austria’s Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen (79) and the Austrian ex-Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (36). RTL presenter Katja Burkhard (58) and her husband, media manager Hans Mahr (74), and actress Anja Kruse (66) also came to the event.
The Salzburg Festival has been taking place since 1920 and is one of the most important music and theater festivals in the world. In 2023, 179 performances will be staged in 43 days at 15 venues.
