Prince William remembered his late mother Princess Diana at an awards ceremony – but without making a joint appearance with brother Prince Harry. “She taught me that everyone has the potential to give something back; that everyone in need deserves a helping hand in life,” said William (41), according to the British news agency PA on Thursday evening in London.
Later, Harry (39) was also supposed to speak to the winners of the Legacy Awards via video link. The Times newspaper interpreted the fact that no joint appearance was planned as a sign of the ongoing rift between the brothers. A reporter from ITV said it was apparently not possible to get the two of them in the same room for the award’s anniversary.
Difficult relationship
