A debate has recently flared up again as to whether the royal family is racist or not, because Duchess Meghan said that King Charles III. is said to have written letters, as reported by the star. Now Meghan reacted to the reports in the media and the alleged letters through a spokesman.

A spokesman for Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, said she is “living her life in the present and not reflecting on correspondence from two years ago that relates to conversations from four years ago,” according to CNN, among others. It goes on to say, “Any other suggestion (regarding the letter) is false and frankly ridiculous.”

The tabloid media and royal correspondents should “end the exhausting circus that they are doing alone,” the spokesman told CNN.

The reports refer to a correspondence between Meghan and then-Prince Charles on a letter that Meghan is said to have sent to the current king after her interview with Oprah Winfrey. In the correspondence, Meghan is said to have commented on the royal family’s unconscious prejudice towards her. And so personally voiced the accusation of racism from the interview to Charles.
